This Privacy Policy explains how KR Commerce Group LLC, doing business as Fieldstead Commercial ("Fieldstead Commercial," "we," "us"), collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit www.fieldsteadcommercial.com, request a quote, place an order or contact us. Our store runs on Shopify.

1. Information we collect

  • Information you give us: name, organization, job title, email address, phone number, billing and delivery addresses, delivery site contact, products and quantities, project details, purchase order numbers and messages you send us.
  • Tax documents: sales tax exemption or resale certificates sent by schools, public agencies, nonprofits and resellers.
  • Order and payment information: what you bought, order totals and payment status. Card payments are processed by Shopify Payments or the payment provider shown at checkout. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and cart and checkout activity, collected through cookies, pixels and similar technologies.
  • Email activity: whether you open or click our emails, so we know which messages are useful.

2. How we use information

  • To answer questions, prepare written quotes and follow up on them
  • To process orders, arrange freight delivery and handle damage claims, returns and warranty questions
  • To apply sales tax correctly and keep exemption records
  • To send emails about your quote or order, and marketing emails if you subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time)
  • To measure and improve our website and advertising
  • To prevent fraud, keep the site secure and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations

3. Who we share information with

We share personal information only as needed to run our business:

  • Shopify, which hosts our store and processes checkout and payments
  • Manufacturers, distributors and freight carriers, who produce and deliver your order
  • Klaviyo, which sends our quote, order and marketing emails
  • Google (for example Google Ads, Google Analytics and Google Merchant Center), which helps us measure visits and show ads, where those tools are enabled
  • Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers
  • Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our rights

We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising and analytics tools may count as "selling" or "sharing" personal information for targeted advertising under certain US state laws. You can opt out as described in section 6.

4. Cookies

We use cookies that are needed for the cart, checkout and security, and, where enabled, cookies for analytics and advertising. You can change your choices in our cookie banner where shown, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may stop the cart or checkout from working.

5. How long we keep information

We keep quote, order and tax records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet tax, accounting and legal requirements (usually up to 7 years), then delete or anonymize them. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and other states with privacy laws, you may have the right to:

  • know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy
  • correct inaccurate information
  • delete your information
  • opt out of targeted advertising and the sale or sharing of personal information
  • appeal our decision on your request

To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject "Privacy request". We will verify your identity before acting and reply within the time the law requires. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where required. We will not treat you differently for using your rights.

7. Security

Our checkout is provided by Shopify over an encrypted connection, and we limit access to personal information to people who need it. No system is completely secure. Please do not send card numbers or government ID numbers by email or through our forms.

8. Business buyers and children

Our website is meant for organizations and adult buyers. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

9. International visitors

We are based in the United States and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. Important changes will be noted on this page.
